MSc in PhD Degrees International Accounting and Finance Scholarships


This PhD Degrees means that the successful candidates will pay no course fees in September 2011 if they are home/EU fee category students. Overseas fee paying students are also encouraged to apply and would pay the difference between home and overseas fees.
Who can apply?

PhD Degrees Applicants may be of any nationality and must hold or expect to obtain an offer of a place on the full time MSc in International Accounting and Finance for entry in September 2011. Applications may be submitted for the Scholarship along with the course application, but only those obtaining a place on the course will be entered into the Scholarship competition.
How to apply

PhD Degrees Complete the MSc in International Accounting and Finance Scholarship Application Form ensuring that all sections are answered legibly.
Pay particular attention to the section which requires a handwritten statement of approximately 500 words on why a Scholarship would help you, and what your career or educational aims are for the five year period after you graduate from the International Accounting and Finance course.
The PhD Degrees closing date for receipt of applications is 5pm GMT on 30 June 2011.
Please note that the Scholarships will be allocated in July and therefore if you are applying both for the Scholarships and the International Accounting and Finance course close to the 30 June deadline, you should ensure that your course application is complete.

We are inviting applications for 8 fully funded PhD Degrees scholarships in the following interdisciplinary areas: biology, cognitive neurology, cognitive science, linguistics and psychology (clinical, cognitive, developmental and social.students: salary for a period of 3 to 4 years (including health and social insurance), equipped work space, cover of research consumables, specific technological training courses (e.g. fMRI, EEG), presentation, writing and teaching skill training, full funding of congress participation, workshops and international courses, including stays in foreign partner laboratories.

The School of Computer Science offers a number of scholarships to students of all nationalities. The amount awarded depends on your rate of tuition fees: Students of British and European Union will receive a discount equivalent to the standard full-time tuition fees (about £ 4,500 worth), students from other countries discount.Scholarships £ 2,000 on the basis of academic Merit award as of the application (including transcripts and references) and form of financing online application (see below) shows.

In recent years, most candidates were with First Class Honours Degree from the United Kingdom (or equivalent) a scholarship and some candidates with a good second class degree specialty (or equivalent) and financial support. Scholarship Description:A major challenge to managers and scientists today is to identify ways that oceans can provide food and other services in a sustainable way under changing climatic and socioeconomic conditions. As a changing climate and high harvesting put increased pressure on marine resources, scientists of the future need the cross-disciplinary skills to combine physical, biological, and social/economic science to give appropriate management advice. NorMER is a new Nordic Centre of Excellence, with funding from Nordforsk, on behalf of Top-level Research Initiative (TRI), and the participating institutions for 2011-2015, that will address this challenge through a unique program of primary research. 45 researches from 10 Nordic institutions will collaborate in training 15 new PhD students and 5 Postdocs through joint projects that explore the biological, economic, and societal consequences of global climate change on fisheries resources in the Nordic region, with a primary focus on the Atlantic cod.

The NorMER partnership includes teams led by Nils Chr. Stenseth at the University of Oslo, Carl Folke of the Stockholm Resilience Centre in Sweden, Erik Bonsdorff at Åbo Adakemi University in Finland, Marko Lindroos at the University of Helsinki in Finland, Markus Meier at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute in Sweden, Guðrún Marteinsdóttir at Marine Academic Research in Iceland, Eyðfinn Magnussen at the University of Faroe Islands, Helle Siegstad at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources, Øyvind Fiksen at the University of Bergen in Norway, and Thomas Kiørboe at the Technical University of Denmark. Each PhD project will be supervised and based at a single institution, but will require a mandatory visit to a partner institution of up to 4 months for co-supervision (see the detailed descriptions for each project for details). The Postdoc positions are additionally required to collaborate with multiple partner institutio.
